Operation Snowman Tree

I have a love hate relationship with Facebook.  I will ignore it for a week or two...and then find myself immersed in it for hours on end, such a time suck!  This is also why I won't/don't do Pinterest, but BLESS my friends and family that do and share on Facebook.  The Snowman Tree...oh he was calling to me...and I needed a tree for the holidays right?   I had just gave away my 20+ year old Charlie Brown Tree...and I have an obsession with Snowmen, so this is a WIN WIN.

Halloween 2013 - Steampunk It IS!

The plan was to go with Once Upon a time....Rumple and Belle....BUT Rob found a costume in the Grandin Road catatlog...  The costume with all it's pieces and parts...$600.  Ummm...no.  I looked it over and said...ehh I can make that...so it began.

Hats, Flowers & Crochet

After one of my evening perusal of online/digital magazines and noticing some great embellishments on hats and bags...I decided...I need to crochet.  It's been a longgggg time since I crocheted...I think the last time I was 11.  I remembered the basic chain...then turning...and then just simple single crochet.  So I did my research...grabbed a couple of books...picked up some yarn, fancy ergonomic hooks...and oh what fun...

Of course I had to make a hat to put them on!
